"Beauty is in the eye of the beholder", to quote an Irish nineteenth century writer Margaret Wolfe Hungerford.
There are people in the society who look at the world and pick more beautiful images than the others. These are photographers.
Unfortunately, most of us do not have such an eye for beauty. Even very thorough guide books do not tell us how to admire a place.
Therefore, me and my sister, we asked ourselves what would happen if each of us was given an opportunity to look at Warsaw with the professional’s eye. To look at it in exactly the same way as visual artists. We want to give people the tools to look. To be able to look at the capital once again, in a more excellent way.
We called this tool the Warsaw Looker. It is an object that we would like to place in public areas.
